There are 50+ broadband providers in operation in the UK, however we only list the biggest broadband providers in this section (whether for home or mobile broadband).

We do not recommend this area for a broadband package comparison, rather this section is intended as a brief summary of the UK broadband provider landscape. If you would rather compare broadband providers available to you at a broadband package level, you can use our postcode checker which allows you to see which deals are available to you in seconds.

Most of the above broadband providers offer great value broadband and adequate service, so for that reason if you already have a broadband provider in mind simply click through on the above links and sign up on the relevant broadband provider’s website.

All major home broadband providers can now offer ADSL broadband UK-wide with the exception of Virgin Media's cable service and Be Broadband which offer high-specification broadband (whether cable or ADSL2 or ADSL+) only available in some areas.
